Clinical Chaplains
NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF ADULT CORRECTIONS
The NC Department of Adult Corrections is seeking Clinical Chaplains to provide spiritual care and leadership at multiple prisons across the state. Chaplains play a vital role in supporting the emotional, spiritual, and rehabilitative needs of offenders while ensuring that religious rights are upheld and policies are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral care to offenders, staff, and administration.
Coordinate and lead religious services for diverse faith groups.
Act as a subject matter expert on First Amendment rights and religious accommodations.
Train and mentor volunteers to meet the spiritual needs of the offender population.
Collaborate with senior institution leadership to ensure compliance with religious policies.
