A Call to the Work of Anti-Racism

A Conversation Between James Forbes, Jr. and Mahan Siler

On Monday, December 14, over 200 Alliance friends listened in on a conversation between James A. Forbes, Jr. and Mahan Siler, moderated by Nancy Hastings Sehested, and Christine Wiley, calling the elders of the church to the work of ending racial oppression. The online conversation, “Do you Hear What I Hear: A Call to the Work of Anti-Racism” was an inspiring exchange between elders on the need to dismantle systems of white supremacy, patriarchy and abusive power, while raising prophetic voices for liberation and justice. The session was just the beginning. Be on the lookout for follow up events and information.
