    Burlington Baptist Church (BBC) is seeking a full-time Minister. We offer the challenge to help this church build on its strengths, increase membership, and attract younger generations.

    BBC is a progressive, inclusive congregation at the edge of downtown Burlington, Ontario. This active church values a welcoming and compassionate ministry. In our community, we are known for openness, creativity, an ecumenical outlook and an interest in social justice issues.

    Burlington is a dynamic city framed by the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario on the western edge of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).     The minister will work with the Church Administrator, the Director of Music, Church Board and Teams and the congregation.

    He or she will demonstrate strong leadership and a knowledge of changing trends, needs in churches, society and the community, and demonstrate a progressive understanding of the Bible. The successful candidate will be able to communicate well with all ages, with the particular ability to connect with younger generations. We seek someone who can engage the larger community and offer intergenerational ministry.

    A basic requirement is that candidates have appropriate education such as a Master of Divinity or equivalent.
